On March 16th, Vestal Middle School social studies students connected with the Center for Civic Engagement at Binghamton University for a powerful day of a civil dialogue workshop. They learned tips to engage in meaningful, better conversations, and about the practice of engaging in conversation with the intent to learn from other people's perspectives. The students then had the chance to practice these skills. Our Golden Bears had the opportunity to ask questions to the student panel and go on a mini campus tour.
