Transportation Eligibility

Students are eligible for transportation if they are in Grades K - 5 and live at least 0.5 miles from school. Secondary students in Grades 6 - 12 who live at least 0.8 miles from school are eligible for transportation.

Please have your student arrive at the bus stop five (5) minutes prior to their scheduled pickup time.

Safety Protocols:

For elementary-aged students, we ask that an authorized adult or older sibling are visible at drop-off. This is to ensure the safety of your child... Thank you!

Coming Soon : Stopfinder App

The Vestal CSD Transportation Department is launching a new parent/guardian app, Stopfinder, which lets families track their child’s school bus in real time. This free, secure, and easy-to-use app will replace My Ride 360, with access limited to authorized users only. In addition to tracking, Stopfinder offers two-way communication, allowing parents to quickly connect with district transportation staff and receive instant notifications.
