Thank You, School Board Members

October 12-16 is Board of Education Recognition Week.
This week, we celebrate and recognize the dedication, leadership, and hard work of our Board of Education members!
Vestal Central School District’s nine-member Board of Education is made up of dedicated volunteers who are elected by our community to serve three-year terms. Their commitment to our District goes far beyond the boardroom. In addition to attending BOE meetings every other week, members dedicate their time to PTA meetings, subcommittee meetings, and many other responsibilities that help support Vestal students, staff, and schools.
Serving on the Board of Education means making important, informed decisions that shape the future of our District. These decisions are not always easy or popular, but each requires thoughtful consideration of District finances, policies and procedures, educational laws, and informed practices, all while keeping the needs of our students and schools as the top priority.
We are grateful for the time, thoughtfulness, and dedication our Board of Education members bring to this important work. We appreciate their willingness to serve, work through complex issues, and make decisions on behalf of the Vestal Central School District community.
Thank you, Vestal CSD Board of Education members, for your service and commitment to our students, staff, and Golden Bear community!
