Proposed 2027 Capital Project

The 2027 proposed capital project includes the construction of a new Transportation Facility on district-owned property adjacent to Tioga Hills Elementary School.

The proposed transportation facility project is intended to modernize the District’s transportation facilities and provide a safe, efficient, and functional location to support the transportation needs of our students and schools. It will include updated electrical infrastructure that can support the New York State Governor’s mandate of updating the bus fleet to zero-emission buses. 
Current plans for the proposed facility include: 

•    Parking for approximately 62 school buses and 80 employees
•    Six bus bays and lifts to support current and future bus fleet
•    Bus wash
•    Dedicated bus driver training area
•    Offices and workspace for Transportation staff
•    ADA compliant offices, meeting spaces, and hallways
